Right now I'm burning CDs, the kiddies have gone home, I've had a lot of fun (but am a bit tired), and tomorrow there's getting my bike its final check-up with the shop, and my gran is visiting. Yea!!! Oh, and I promised the neighbour I'd clean the stairs... I think my bed will call shortly!

T minus: 9 Days!
Yes, you read correctly: I leave for Vancouver in 9 days. And I have lots to do before I go... I'm optimistic, though!
The funnest "to do" starts today: Li'l Bro and Li'l Sis are coming to stay. For 3 nights! Yipppeeee!!! (I hope they don't mind too much that we'll have to do a few preparatory things together: setting up my tent, checking my bike (and dismantling it for the plane ---- just a practice run, we'll have to put it back together too).
But otherwise: Fun!!!
Now I'm going to sort paperwork.... Let the fun begin. Soon, please!

Ahh... The art of procrastination
I should be working on my research report, but I'm mildly fed up with it for the minute. Thing is, I need to get it finished soon, and the internets aren't helping.
I just spent an hour looking for a cool yet relevant cover image for my report. Still got zip.
Okaaay.... boring everyone now, and not a strong second post, but I'm trying to get into a blogging rhythm again.
Promise to think of something interesting soon.

New Blog!!!
Welcome to Em On A Bike, my brand spanking new blog!!
I deleted my old blog. Too much negativity and moaning there. Plus, I wasn't posting there very regularly anymore... Instead, this will be my travel log, on which I will tell you about my adventures with my pretty green bike, and about anything else I deem relevant.
Comments make me happy and are very much welcome. Mean ones will be deleted, so go bitch and moan somewhere else if you are so inclined.
